Chiropractic Treatment

Chiropractic treatment consists of adjustments and manipulations to the joints of the spinal column and extremities. This treatment corrects misalignment and restores overall muscle-skeletal integrity. In the spinal column, this also helps to reduce nerve interference, inflammation, and pain.

Electronic Muscle Stimulation

Electronic Muscle Stimulation helps to relax muscle spasms and decrease pain in injured regions. It also helps blood flow to the region to promote healing, reducing atrophy of the muscle.

Intersegmental Traction Therapy

Intersegmental/Mechanical Traction therapy helps with joint mobility and surrounding tissues. This helps reduce pain and promotes blood flow to the injured tissues and along the spinal column.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial release is a therapeutic treatment that attempts to release tension in fascia due to trauma, inflammation, or posture. The procedure can be performed by hand or machine.

Neuromuscular Re-education

Neuromuscular Re-education helps to develop or re-develop a patient’s balance and coordination between the brain and body after an acute trauma or from other chronic issues.

Therapeutic Exercise

Therapeutic exercise is used to strengthen endurance and range of motion to injured, weak, and inhibited parts of the body. It also helps to increase system mobility.

Hydrotherapy

Hydrotherapy is used to aid in muscle relaxation and to reduce overall soreness. It also aids in blood flow.

Heat and Ice

Ice can be used to reduce pain, swelling, and inflammation in the acute portion of an injury in the first 72 hours.
Heat is used thereafter to increase blood flow to region to promote healing and reduce muscle spasms.

X-ray/Diagnostics

The use of radiographic imaging to further examine the skeletal system of a patient. This helps to rule out fractures, dislocations, or other serious pathologies.

Ultrasound

Therapeutic ultrasound therapy uses sound waves to penetrate into deep tissues to promote blood flow and overall healing. It also eliminates soreness and fibrotic adhesion/scar tissue buildup.
